National IngredientsCentre, NIC, is establishing an Industrial PhD programme

The National IngredientsCenter is currently mobilizing the existing partners in NIC as well as the European food and feed industry in an effort to create a European Industrial PhD program in the field of ingredients.

NIC will take advantage of the successful Danish model for industrial PhD projects originally introduced by the Academy for the Technical Sciences, ATV, more than 40 years ago.

The experience will now be used on an European scale.  The young scientists in this program are doing their research both at the industrial and the academic laboratories. NIC will use the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie program to seek funding for the European PhD program under NIC.

Remember the application deadline
There is an application deadline for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie action at January 13, 2015 and therefore the focus for the remaining part of 2014 will be to identify the research areas for the industrial PhD projects to be initiated.
